This new conference takes a unique approach to patient care by zeroing in on sex differences in non-reproductive areas such as: gastroenterology, cardiology, psychiatry, pulmonology, and nephrology. By understanding these difference, clinicians will be able to tailor patient care for both men and women, avoiding delays in care and poor outcomes.

Covering a wide range of specialties, this conference:

  • Focuses on how major organ systems function differently in men and women, going beyond a basic review of physiology
  • Highlights differences in clinical presentations of common disease in men and women
  • Provides important information on varying responses to treatment options, looking at both success rates and adverse reactions

This course is designed for physicians, nurses and allied health professionals in family practice and internal medicine.
