The Organization for the Study of Sex Differences (OSSD) works to enhance the knowledge of sex/gender differences by facilitating interdisciplinary communication and collaboration among scientists and clinicians of diverse backgrounds. A welcome statement from our president. A list of officers and councilors can be found here. The OSSD Fourth Annual Meeting was held in Ann Arbor, MI on June 3-5, 2010 at the University of Michigan. More than 149 participants attended the three day meeting consisting of seven symposia, Keynote and Capstone lectures, two poster sessions, a welcome reception, and an awards banquet. Haseltine Award for best new investigator poster presentation, won by Michael Coronado from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Honorable mentions were Sean McGee from University of South Carolina and Katherine Siciliano from University of Michigan. A full list of award winners can be found on the Award Recipients page. The OSSD Programs Committee has reviewed symposium proposals for the Fifth Annual Meeting Scientific Program. The 2011 Annual Meeting will take place from June 2 -4, in Oklahoma City, OK.
