Underlying mechanisms determining sex differences in stress responsivity and persistent changes in behavior following traumatic stress; Endocrine-immune interactions affecting sensory reactivity and learning. Grant Support History: Ovarian hormone regulation of behavior following traumatic stress (VA Merit Review); Interoceptive stressor conditioning: A model of Gulf War Illness (VA#00695); CRH-serotonin interactions in causing chronic hypervigilance in rats (VA VISN 3 pilot program).
